I have a confession I’ve been sitting on for a while.
For years, so many of you have called me Martha. And honestly? I loved it. Little Miss Martha was home to every tablescape, every last-minute dinner party, every “I promise you can pull this off” pep talk we’ve shared. It was a good little place to be.
But here’s the secret I’ve been keeping: my name is actually **Abby**.
I guess it’s not a secret, but I cannot tell you how many times people don’t know me by my real name until they meet me! So it was time!
So I’m finally making it official — Little Miss Martha is now At Abby’s House.

Why the change?
Two reasons, and they’re both simple.
First, it’s my name. It always felt a little funny building a home online under someone else’s, and every time someone said “Hi Martha!” a small part of me wanted to wave and say, “Close! It’s Abby.” Now the sign on the door finally matches.
Second, this little corner of the internet has grown into so much more than table settings. It’s parties and traditions and hosting real life — usually with my two girls at my side and something on the stove I’m hoping I don’t burn. I wanted a name that felt like what this really is: an open door, a set table, and a standing invitation to come and hang.
What’s staying exactly the same
Everything you came here for. The tablescapes. The pretty-but-doable hosting. The “here’s how to make it look like it took hours when it took twelve minutes.” Or maybe it really DID take only 12 minutes because that’s all I had. 🤣
All of it — just under a name that finally fits. Same me, same table, same you-belong-here energy.
Come on in
If we’re new friends: welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. And if you’ve been around since the Martha days: thank you, truly, for following me to the new place.
